Its More Than Just Being Thirsty!
Dehydration occurs when your body hasn’t had enough water, and many people think the only sign is thirst. However, sources such as Mayo Clinic state that in older adults, thirst is one of the last indicators your body gives you to tell you it is dehydrated.
Other symptoms to look for are dizziness, confusion, dark urine, and fatigue. In infants you can also look for lack of tears when crying, sunken eyes, a sunken soft spot on top of their skull, and irritability.
Of course, these symptoms can be cured by simply drinking some water!
Constantly drinking water is a great way to fight off dehydration.
