ABERDEEN, Wash. — The city of Aberdeen may sell some of its water to the Middle East.

Public Works Director Larry Bledsoe told KXRO it has been approached by the Gulf Pacific Rim Group of Qatar.

The city has 30 million gallons of water a day available because of the closure of the Cosmopolis pulp mill.

Bledsoe says the company would have to build a dock at Aberdeen to fill ships with drinking water.
