REYKJAVIK, Iceland and FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — An Iceland-based bottled-water company is considering a Fayetteville site for a new distribution center. Mayor Dan Coody says Bruarfoss will make a third visit to Fayetteville.

The company is considering leasing a city-owned former Tyson Foods complex. Coody says the company sells water from melted glaciers, and hopes to be a supplier for Bentonville-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

The mayor says Bruarfoss is considering the site also as an emergency depot from where it could quickly respond to hurricanes and other natural disasters, when demand for water is great.
