FARGO, N.D. — Cass County authorities say water restrictions have been lifted in the town of Buffalo.
The town of about 200 had asked residents to limit water use because its sewer system was strained from a temporary increase in people. They came from Valley City, west of Buffalo, after Valley City's sewer system failed under pressure from the Sheyenne River.
Conditions in Valley City have been improving and residents have returned. A statement from the Cass County sheriff's office said water restrictions in Buffalo have been lifted.
